2016

Jessica Blackler worked as a makeup artist in Film & TV in London. She also provided makeup lessons to various clients, notably extending her expertise to the trans community, guiding them on applying makeup. Moreover, Jessica actively supported the trans community within Parc Prison. Jessica noticed that her clients felt very overlooked by the beauty industry, and product or brands were not inclusive.

2017

Jecca Blac was launched as the first brand that focused on all makeup wearers. The first product launch was to support those who wanted to cover beard shadow when applying makeup. Jecca Blac's innovative approach caught the attention of L’Oréal, whose support enabled the brand to scale and reach a wider audience.

2018-2020

Jecca Blac began its expansion into the beauty market with the support of esteemed partners, including Walmart, Superdrug, Look Fantastic, and many more. The brand quickly gained traction, earning coverage in prestigious publications such as Vogue, ELLE, and Forbes.
To further support this growth, founder Jessica successfully raised funds, enabling Jecca Blac to expand both its team and product offerings.

2020-2022

Jecca Blac continued its expansion into the US and EU markets, strengthening relationships with existing partners while securing new accounts. The brand achieved a significant milestone by selling over 2 million units, with the majority distributed within the US market.
Founder Jessica Blackler was honored to be recognised in Forbes' 30 Under 30 list for 2022.

2022 Onwards

Jessica Blackler began supporting beauty and wellness brands in their expansion into the US and UK markets, driving continued success for these brands.
